Hidden in Plain Sight

This location I see on a very regular basis. It's somewhere I have complete access to, and have had for years. It is, in fact, on the property of our family business. So why, in all these years, did I not recognize the photographic potential? Not until I was told the cars would be removed did it dawn on me that I should use it. So...I made a call, the subject was willing, and we got it done. Thank you so much, dad, for delaying the removal, and to "A" for modeling on such short notice. We have another "real" shoot scheduled soon, and I'll tell you about beautiful "A" in that post!

Remember the post My Favorite Family? Well, here are the photos of their newest addition, and it's...a boy! Yes, that makes four boys! I have all the confidence that these two fine parents can pull off raising four beautiful boys. In fact, when I think about the foundation that these little men will have for life, it warms my heart. What a wonderful gift, and incredible honor, I've been given to document their growth, both inside and out, and the bond between them.

The Not-So-Ordinary-Cellist

This is "H", one of my senior reps. She has been so patient with me during my crazy busy holiday season, and I've finally been able to start on her proofs. She is a cellist, so we had fun incorporating the instrument into the shots - she looks like a rock star in the one on the steps (which, by the way, my husband shot)! So, "H", here's your sneak peek.
