Best. Present. Ever.

This tiny gem was born on Christmas day. I think she had perfect timing since her parents waited for this gift for years. I felt so honored to be chosen to capture such a special time in all of their lives. Thank you, K and R, and enjoy your preview!

Blonde Hair and Black Eyes (Peas, that is)

I first photographed this little guy as a newborn in January, 2008, and I can't believe how he's changed! He went from a dark, thick head of hair to a complete towhead! Obviously, he didn't remember me from when he was just two weeks old, so I had to win him over by singing and dancing a Black Eyed Peas song ("I Gotta Feeling"). I love this job...always an adventure!

A Cloudy Day...

...is no match for a sunny disposition! And Little Miss T always brings her own sunshine. Not only did her smile sparkle, her fabulous shoes did too!

BIG Personality

This little man was BIG on personality and it shows! We had such a fun time in downtown Bradenton, and he was such a trooper. If you're looking for something different for a family "portrait", the urban session is the way to go.

Favorite Christmas Cards of 2008

This past Christmas my designer took a break to prepare for the arrival of her third baby, so I designed most of the cards myself. I really enjoyed the whole creative process. Now I'm looking forward to designing upcoming birth announcements and graduation announcements myself...with a little help and inspiration from her. These were my favorites:

Fun mini-session

Aren't these outfits so cute together? Notice both the little girl and the dog (their first daughter) have black bows to accent mom and dad's clothes. Love it!!



And we've decided dad's Chucks should be a theme, which actually started with our first session last year.

Florida Style Christmas

Living in a southern state definitely has it's advantages. Of course it would be nice to have some kind of seasonal change, but I love that it's November and we're still heading out to the beach for sessions!

Arthur Murray's Newest Dancer

Well, she can't dance yet, but she already loves the music! She's such a cute baby, and you should see how these two bounce and dance around the studio with her in tow. Her first steps will probably be the tango. ;)
