This little girl belongs to a friend of mine who was kind enough to let me practice with this adorable petticoat I bought. She was the perfect model for it because she did her own thing instead of posing and giving me a fake smile. These shots are exactly what I wanted with this outfit. So thanks to both of you! To the moms out there - I have this aqua petticoat and a burgundy one for girls a little older, so let me know if you want to use them on a shoot.
On the ones below, I couldn't decide which conversion I liked best, so I'm posting all three. Post a comment and give me your opinion if you'd like!

The very first pic has such bold colors - very dramatic. The second one has the slightly sun-faded look - like it has aged a bit. I'm amazed that the little girl provided such great shots without being posed! As for the 3 shots with different lighting/coloring - I like the first one. The bold colors allow you to see that she is wearing a petticoat and bright boots whereas the other two settings - you have to really look to see it. I see a modeling career in this little one's future! Sherry
I'm looking for high school seniors to represent my photography company in schools in Pinellas and Hillsborough counties. All reps receive a free session, and earn prints with successful referrals. Custom cards from this photo session will be printed for you to give to others you think would be interested in outdoor senior portraits.
I need one student from each local high school, so act fast! To apply as a rep, email a snapshot, short bio including any hobbies/interests, and school attended, to dayinthelifephotos@gmail.com.
