Homecoming

Girls - THANK YOU so much for being patient with me. This year has been crazy with Christmas orders, and it really sneaked up on me. I haven't edited your whole shoot yet, but I wanted to post a few images for you. I promise I'll finish them as soon as I can, but while you're waiting, here's a little taste:

Day at the Farm - first sneak peek

Darin and I had the pleasure of doing a "Day in the Life" photo shoot on the "G" family farm. I will be writing about this shoot when I have other photos to post, but for now, I'm putting up just a few of the family images for their Christmas cards, and a few extras just for fun. Enjoy!

Custom Cards, Announcements, Etc.

As some of you already know, I have teamed up with a talented friend of mine to offer custom photo products. We are offering holiday cards, as well as birth announcements, graduation announcements, storyboards and collages. You can visit Simply Bella Designs to view some samples. The focus has been on holiday cards, but when that rush is over, next in line is designing some great grad announcements for my seniors out there. And if you have some other special occassion (birthday party, new home, etc.), we can certainly meet those needs as well.

Petticoats

This little girl belongs to a friend of mine who was kind enough to let me practice with this adorable petticoat I bought. She was the perfect model for it because she did her own thing instead of posing and giving me a fake smile. These shots are exactly what I wanted with this outfit. So thanks to both of you! To the moms out there - I have this aqua petticoat and a burgundy one for girls a little older, so let me know if you want to use them on a shoot.

Cutie Pie

This is my dear friend's daughter. We did our annual girls getaway, this time to Detroit, where this family lives. It was a great pleasure to meet this little firecracker, and her faithful dog. I was so excited to be able to photograph her, I love doing that for friends. The weather was dreary and the little one wasn't feeling great, but I hope I captured something they will cherish.

Sixteen and Sassy

This shoot was a sixteenth birthday gift from "B"s mom to "H" (darker hair). How nice is that? They were fantastic models - sweet, gorgeous and up for anything, as you'll see. We were shooting in downtown St. Petersburg and found this awesome vintage/consignment shop, Sequins and Denim. The owner, Shannon West, was amazingly helpful, let us use her dressing rooms and even offered to loan us these crazy dresses! Thank you so much, Shannon! Please check out her Myspace page and stop in her store if you're in the area. Anyway, we did a nice mix of high style shots with "normal" clothes, and some over-the-top looks with the dresses. I LOVE the results! Thank you girls for being funky enough to pull this off, and thanks to "B"s mom for hiring me. Sooo...here ya go...
