Well, maybe not still, but he must have lived long enough to conceive a second daughter. ;) I was floored at how much this girl looks like Lisa Marie Presley! And she definitely knew how to work the camera.
So this is an itty bitty taste of the shoot, which was one of my favorites! I won't write much about it now because I'm only posting three photos. But I'm chomping at the bit to get through them and share. When I'm done proofing, I'll write about the shoot and post lots more pictures, so stay tuned, it's going to be good stuff.
psssst...Miss "H"...I need that model release if you want your photos posted too!

The eyes have it
Introducing...Senior "D". This girl has deep, soulful eyes, with lashes a mile long, and some of the best eye contact with the camera. Her smile is cute as a button (Southern thing), as is the rest of her. We had so much fun...I wish we would have started earlier! I have a bunch of images to print for proofs, but I wanted to share a small mix of our day.

AMAZING
I was so honored when asked to photograph this birth. It was the first birth I had ever witnessed, and it was an awesome, moving experience. I was quite nervous about it. I wanted to capture the rawness of it...the pure emotion, the anxiousness, the rush and chaos, the instant love that emerges. I wanted all the journalistic details, ones that would evoke those same emotions each time they looked at them. I wanted...not to disappoint. This, after all, is about the parents, the family. I was there to tell their story through my eyes. I hoped to write that story with...light.
(I only posted a few images here. To view the rest, please go here, and either view as slideshow, or click on "Birth of M")

Time for some eye candy
Right girls? ;) I've posted several gorgeous ladies on this blog, so here's a little of the opposite sex. This is high school senior "A", who I'm told has had some modeling experience. Well, he seemed shy, but definitely comfortable posing, and the camera sure loved him! If he models for me again, are there any takers on assisting me?? I'll start a list. Enjoy...
